How did he get my phone number?

I got a strange text on my phone yesterday. I am used to these scamming schemes so I was very wary. The sender acted like I was familiar so I was intrigued. But he didn’t tell me his name. Not at first.

I told him I didn’t have time for people that I didn’t know so please reveal your identity. What I received was quite shocking.
